Man down

For my husbands first passenger ride in Mabel we headed the 3 short miles down to the stables in a village near us. We became part of a motorcycle ride out at one point, surrounded by old bikes. I am getting used to nodding back to these guys now as they recognise what is essential a motorbike with an extra wheel! The horses weren’t too fussy about making friends with the car however we did meet a lovely chap in the village who had seen us out and about earlier on in the day and wanted to say hello. We only had a minor casualty in the form of Scott’s cap which unfortunately flew off his head as we travelled along a particularly windy section of road! We managed to rescue the hat (!) but lesson learnt – do not wear a cap in windy conditions, or at least strap it to your head somehow!
